“Celebrating Secrets” | March 22, 2026

“For nothing is hidden that will not be made manifest, nor is anything secret that will not be known and come to light.” — Luke 8:17

In Luke 8, Jesus reveals that the “secrets” of the kingdom are not meant to stay hidden—they are meant to be received, grown, and revealed. Through the parable of the sower and the calming of the storm, Pastor Scott showed us that what we think we know about God is often challenged by deeper truth. These kingdom secrets don’t remain theoretical—they are experienced through faith, patience, and obedience. What begins hidden in the heart is ultimately revealed in a life transformed.

Cancel What You Thought You Knew

v 8, 18

  • Jesus calls us to reconsider what we assume we understand.
  • Hearing is not the same as receiving.
  • What we think we know can actually limit what God wants to reveal.

Foster Faith — If There Is Patience

v 15, 25

  • Good soil produces fruit over time, not instantly.
  • Faith grows through endurance, not urgency.
  • Even the disciples had to learn trust in the middle of the storm.

Unlock with Obedience

v 15, 21, 25

  • The secrets of the kingdom are revealed through response, not just awareness.
  • Those who hear and do the Word are called Jesus’ true family.
  • Obedience turns hidden truth into lived reality.

Are Temporary at Best

v 10, 17

  • What is hidden now will be revealed later.
  • God’s truth is never meant to stay concealed.
  • Kingdom secrets are not permanent mysteries—they are progressive revelations.
