God from Luke’s Eyes to Yours
The Call to Make an Eternal Impact
What does it mean to live a life that makes an eternal impact? Mark Teyler challenged us to move beyond simply watching what God is doing and become active participants in His mission.
Through the stories of indigenous church planters on the Andaman and Nicobar Islands, we saw how faithful witnesses are sharing Jesus in places where many have never heard His name. Their courage reminds us that God has placed each of us exactly where we can make a difference.
Three Ways to Live for Impact
1. Remember Your PURPOSE
ACTS 1:7–8
Our highest calling is to be witnesses for Jesus. Whether we are at work, school, home, or in our neighborhoods, we are more than our job titles or daily responsibilities. We are God's witnesses wherever He has placed us.
2. Remember Your POWER
ACTS 1:8
The Holy Spirit empowers us to step out in faith. We don't have to wait until we feel confident or have every answer. God meets us as we take steps of obedience and trust Him to work through us.
3. Remember Your PROCLAMATION
ACTS 1:8
We don't have to be theologians or have every answer. A witness simply shares what they have seen, heard, and experienced with Jesus. Speak the truth in love, tell your story, and trust God with the results—because salvation belongs to Him.
This Week’s Challenge
Mark shared six ways we can participate in evangelism:
Spirit-led evangelism, support evangelism, friendship evangelism, care and tract evangelism, person-of-peace evangelism, and prayer and fasting.
Consider how God has wired you to share His love, and look for opportunities to put it into practice.
Remember Ruth, whose faithful witness helped set in motion a growing movement of church planting on the islands. We may never see the full impact of our obedience, but God can use one faithful step to influence generations.
Take It With You
✓ Know your purpose: You are God's witness wherever you go.
✓ Trust His power: Step out in faith, even when you feel afraid.
✓ Share your story: You don't need every answer—just be faithful to tell what Jesus has done.
✓ Live for impact: Trust God to use your obedience in ways you may never fully see.
Reflect & Respond
One Question for the Week
Who has God placed in my life, and what step can I take to faithfully share Jesus with them?
